2010 Open Source Awards 评选即将开始

　　Open Source Awards 是由 Packt 出版社举行的线上评选活动。今年已经是第五届了，这个评选活动最开始的时侯只是针对开源内容管理系统（CMS）做评选，而随着发展以及更多类型的开源项目 的出现，为了鼓励、支持、表彰和奖励这些项目，将评选分为不同类型的几个方面，让更多的项目可以参加进来。

Open Source Awards 是由 Packt 出版社举行的线上评选活动。今年已经是第五届了，这个评选活动最开始的时侯只是针对开源内容管理系统（CMS）做评选，而随着发展以及更多类型的开源项目 的出现，为了鼓励、支持、表彰和奖励这些项目，将评选分为不同类型的几个方面，让更多的项目可以参加进来。

　　评选分为俩个阶段，提名阶段和评选阶段。

• 8月9日——9月17日为提名阶段，在这个阶段您可以给您最喜欢的开源项目投票，以让他们有机会进入最后的决赛阶段。
• 9月27日——11月5日为投票阶段，最终的结果就看这个阶段的投票情况了。

　　如果您参与这个投票活动，您除了为您喜爱的开源项目做一份贡献外，您还将有机会获得亚马逊Kindle。俩个阶段将各会有一个人获得这个奖品，您可以参加俩个阶段的投票，这样您就有更多一点的机会获得它。

2010 Open Source Awards 将分为如下几个类别评选：

• 开源CMS 
• Most Promising Open Source Project
• 最有前途的开源项目
• 开源电子商务应用
• 开源JavaScript库 
• 开源图形软件

2010 Open Source Awards 评选规则：

1. 各个分类中的项目必须为开源项目，只有被提名的才具有评选资格。
2. 每人只有一个提名名额。
3. 在各个分类中，除了Most Promising Open Source Project分类外，都将只在自己的分类中评选，Most Promising Open Source Project是开放的，但仅限于全部CMS往年得奖者。
4. 一个开源项目只能参加一个类别的评选。
5. Previous winners of the Overall CMS Award are not eligible for the Open Source CMS category in 2010. Previous winners compete amongst one another in the separate Hall of Fame CMS category designed specifically for them.
6. The Most Promising Open Source Project category is open for Open Source projects that first release was under two years ago as of August 9, 2010, available on an Open Source license. Projects that entered the 2009 Most Promising CMS category, that are still eligible for the 2010 Most Promising Open Source projects category are invited to enter.
7. 在最后的投票阶段，每人只有一票投票权。
8. 各个分类的前三名将接受评审团的评测。最后的投票结果将发布在PacktPub.com上。
9. Category award winners will be decided on a points basis. The project that the judges and public have voted as the number one will be awarded three points. The second placed project will receive two points and the third placed project will receive one point. The project with the highest number of points overall will be declared the winner.
10. 在出现平局的情况下，将有一个仲裁来仲裁项目。
11. 所有仲裁员都是单独仲裁的，其决定为最终决定。
12. Packt Publishing has no influence, input or say in the finalists or winners of any Award category.
13. 每个亚马逊Kindle的获得者将随机抽取，。
