开源协作公司MindTouch 3月17日在今年开源商业会议上发布了他们根据Google Trends和各种Twitter分析工具得出的最具影响力开源意见领袖榜。

其中，著名技术出版公司O'Reilly的创始人Tim O'Reilly因其Twitter的143万关注者而荣登榜首。Linux之父Linus Torvalds虽然很少上Twitter，博客更新也不勤，而且多是写自己私人活动，仍然以无可比拟的强大实力而名列第二。其他前10名意见领袖还包 括：Google的开源宣传员Chris Messina，Sun的前CEO Jonathan Schwartz，Mono创始人Miguel de Icaza，知名Drupal设计和开发公司ImageX Media的创始人Glenn Hilton，技术作家、开源图书《Rebel Code》的作者Glyn Moody，Ubuntu开发公司Canonical的COO Matt Asay，Drupal之父Dries Buytaert和Python之父Guido van Rossum。
前50名榜单中，比较知名的还包括：最近离开Oracle的Sun公司首席开源官Simon Phipps，MySQL前CEO Marten Mikos，Ubuntu社区经理Jono Bacon，美女程序员和企业家、知名技术播客Shelly Roche，Perl大牛Randal Schwartz，Spring之父Rod Johnson，Mono前身Ximian联合创始人Nat Friedman，Google开源和公共部门工程经理Chris Dibona等等。
