Intel Clarkdale Core i3-530处理器在Linux系统下的性能表现
，不过这类处理器同时也整合了图形核心HD Graphics(GMA HD)，相当于附带一块集成显卡，它的性能又怎样呢？
最近放出的Linux发行版都已经可以支持Clarkdale集成显卡，事实上在其发布之前就有开源驱动支持了，甚至有3D加速。虽然经常还会出现崩溃现象，特别是在基于OpenGL的游戏里比较严重，但除此之外一切正常，日常使用基本不存在问题，另外这种崩溃现象不仅仅是Clarkdale的问题，其他使用Intel Linux驱动包最新版的系统也存在。
本次测试的硬件平台配置包括：Core i3-530 2.93GHz(图形核心频率733MHz)、精英H55H-M主板、OCZ 2GB DDR3内存、OCZ Vertex 64GB固态硬盘，软件方面使用Ubuntu 10.01最新开发版操作系统，带有GNOME 2.29.4、X Server 1.7.4 RC2和Mesa 7.7驱动程序，并手动将系统内核升级到2.6.33-rc5版本，Intel X.Org驱动则更新到xf86-video-intel 2.10.0 DDX。

参与对比的显卡有Radeon X800 XL 400/490MHz、Radeon X1950 PRO 581/702MHz、Radeon HD 2600 PRO 600/650MHz、Radeon HD 4670 750/1000MHz，驱动程序均为xf86-video-ati 6.12.99和Mesa 7.7 Radeon DRI，而没有使用AMD官方的催化剂驱动。
另外由于Core i3-530不兼容旧平台，故没有加入和G4x整合芯片组的对比。

1080p H.264视频播放：Clarkdale的平均CPU占用率介于几块A卡之间，但峰值占用率最低，整体来说都差不多。另外Intel Linux驱动支持XvMC，ATI Linux驱动则还没有，等到通过Gallium3D驱动支持VDPAU/VA-API就好了。

《Warsow》：开源ATI驱动在这个游戏里表现不好，帧率都是个位数，而且几块卡几乎完全一样。Clarkdale就比较正常了，只是分辨率达到1280×1024的时候帧率就只有20FPS了。

《帕德曼的世界》(World of Padman)：Clarkdale和2600 PRO在这款ioquake3引擎游戏里基本并驾齐驱，但4670也不够快，即使X1800 XL的成绩都要好得多。看起来开源ATI驱动针对R600/R700核心的优化还有很多工作要做。

《极速漂移》(VDrift)：Clarkdale在800×600的低分辨率下速度最快，有15FPS，但到了1920×1080就只剩下7FPS了。2600 PRO和X1800 XL太慢了。

QGears2：2600 PRO问题依旧，还是时好时坏，不过总的来说Clarkdale依然最慢。

JXRenderMark：三个项目结果差异很大，Clarkdale时而快得多，时而很慢很慢，时而又和A卡不相上下。
小结：
开源的Intel、ATI显卡驱动都有这样那样的瑕疵，但都没有特别致命的问题，Clarkdale集成显卡刚刚发布就能获得这样的支持已经足以令 人满意。在目前的开源驱动支持下，它的性能和Radeon HD 2600 PRO基本处于同一档次，满足日常Linux应用毫无问题，也能在低分辨率下玩一些游戏，唯一需要完善的地方就是文章开头提到的GPU崩溃问题。
不过一旦R600/R700 3D支持成熟起来，Radeon HD 2600 PRO应该就不会这么尴尬了，另外Radeon HD 4670是测试A卡中最新的，开源驱动支持还不到位，很多时候甚至不如古老的R400架构Radeon X1800 XL，需要优化的地方还太多。当然了，如果使用AMD官方的催化剂驱动，情况要比Mesa驱动好得多。

开源的Intel、ATI显卡驱动都有这样那样的瑕疵，但都没有特别致命的问题，Clarkdale集成显卡刚刚发布就能获得这样的支持已经足以令 人满意。在目前的开源驱动支持下，它的性能和Radeon HD 2600 PRO基本处于同一档次，满足日常Linux应用毫无问题，也能在低分辨率下玩一些游戏，唯一需要完善的地方就是文章开头提到的GPU崩溃问题。
不过一旦R600/R700 3D支持成熟起来，Radeon HD 2600 PRO应该就不会这么尴尬了，另外Radeon HD 4670是测试A卡中最新的，开源驱动支持还不到位，很多时候甚至不如古老的R400架构Radeon X1800 XL，需要优化的地方还太多。当然了，如果使用AMD官方的催化剂驱动，情况要比Mesa驱动好得多。
