Firefox 3.6 正式版将在下周一推出

据国外媒体报道，Firefox浏览器开发商Mozilla上周五推出了Firefox3.6第一个发布候选版（RC1）。如果后续测试 没有发现重大技术漏洞，Mozilla最早将于1月18日（下周一）发布Firefox3.6正式版。
Mozilla原定于2009年12月底之前发布Firefox3.6正式版，但因种种原因将该正式版发布的时间推迟到“2010年第一季度”。在 Mozilla发布Firefox3.6 RC1版之前，已经推出了5个相应测试版。Mozilla称，Firefox3.6 RC1版修复了前5个测试版中存在的将近100个技术漏洞。

Mozilla 称，如果后续测试没有发现重大技术漏洞，用户最早能够于1月18日下载Firefox3.6正式版。Mozilla去年5月20日发布 Firefox3.5 RC1版，10天后发布其正式版。2008年期间，Mozilla发布Firefox3.0 RC1版到正式版之间的时间差为13天。
按照Mozilla此前公布的开发计划，Firefox3.6版将整合Personas插件，以方便用户轻松定制Firefox外观。此 外，Firefox3.6将加快启动时间和提高安全性。而Firefox3.7版将进一步缩短启动时间，如在Windows操作系统中使其启动时间减少 25%， 并使用户安装、升级插件更为容易。
美国互联网流量监测机构Net Applications此前公布的统计数据显示，目前Firefox在全球浏览器市场的份额约为25%。
