　　据国外媒体报道，11月份，Linux家族迎来一系列重大发布：先是Ubuntu 9.10，接着Mandriva 2010、Fedora 12。接下来向大家介绍的是，经过11个月研发推出的最新版OpenSuse 11.2。

　　OpenSusu的优点在于：专业、易用，采用YaST软件包管理系统，安全的AppArmor（功能和RedHat等发行版本所带的SELinux一样），系统本身结合了海量优秀代码。

　　OpenSUSE被评价为最华丽的Linux桌面发行版，界面甚至堪比微软新一代的Wind 7，其性能在诸多Linux发行版中也居前列。

　　11.2版中新添了许多功能，采用Linux 2.6.31.5内核，在系统稳定性上作了很大改进。同样提供Gnome 2.28和KDE 4.3.1两种桌面环境。

　　主要功能简介：

　　——近1000款功能软件，从服务器程序到最常用的应用软件和开发工具，应有尽有；

　　——内嵌新一代文件系统系统Ext4，系统内部按照Ext4标准后可以存储更多的信息，而且便于管理；

　　——独特的Home分区，在OpenSuse自动安装过程中，Home分区被独立划分出来以便用户升级或重新安装系统；

　　——简洁、华丽的界面，11.2中集成多款壁纸和个性化主题，带给用户以不同的体验；

　　——改进的启动速度：经过多次修改和测试后，OpenSusu的启动速度已经得到了很大程度的提高；

　　——USB安装支持，全面兼容USB3.0；

　　——添加Plymouth启动画面技术取代原先的Splashy，在启动过程中提供了图形化的启动动画；；

　　——OpenOffice 3.1.1，与微软Office类似的界面、操作，功能强大且免费；
