首台国产Chrome OS上网本将用龙芯CPU

根据Google宣布的计划，采用Chrome操作系统的上网本产品将在2010年某个时候发布，但是，国内制造商可能会在下个月放出一台采用预发行版本Chrome OS上网本产品。
据消息来源称，龙梦可能会利用现有的“YeeLoong 8089”上网本平台，制造基于龙芯CPU的Chrome上网本产品，而之前龙芯笔记本一直采用Linux操作系统。

相比使用Windows XP操作系统的上网本，换用Chrome OS操作系统的产品将可以节省40美元费用。但是国产龙芯笔记本并没有此方面的问题，因为架构问题该系列笔记本只能使用开源的Linux操作系统，使用Chrome OS并不能为之节省成本。
采用Linux操作系统的YeeLoong 8089笔记本现在售价约为2899人民币，更换为Chrome OS后估计售价会完全相同。如果龙梦顺利基于计划推出这款产品，那么龙芯上网本可能会成为全球首款Chrome上网本产品。
