Firefox 3.6 将首次支持 64位操作系统

Mozilla的Firefox 3.5版本浏览器刚刚发布不久,它带来了更高的速度和对HTML5、XHTML和SVG图形的支持.
而最新消息显示,下一个版本,也就是FireFox 3.6将带来一大突破,那就是他们准备开始原生支持64位系统,其优势包括更快的速度,更高的加密技术,快速呼叫类型函数调用,同时也可以更有效地映射大内存.
有基准测试提供证据表明,64位的FireFox性能有显著提高.
目前Safari 4有64位支持,而Google Chrome也和Mozilla一样至今没有提供,而Opera只提供给64位的Linux和OpenBSD操作系统.
