Software Manager

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced software development manager who can lead a team of 5-10 people and has the potential to manage larger teams.  You will be working in a fast expanding company in the unified communications industry, and have the opportunity of growing a young and enthusiastic team to its maturity. You will use your technical, management, and people skills to

·         Ensure on-time and high quality delivery of product development targets

·         Facilitate continuous growth in your team’s technical competency

·         Coach and mentor your team members to help them grow in their career path

·         Be the contact point and represent your team in projects requiring international cooperation within and outside Polycom.

Qualifications:

·         Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

·         Excellent English skills, especially oral English communication.

·         6+ year experience in software development

·         2+ year experience of managing a team of 5-10 people

·         Good experience of recruiting, coaching and mentoring team members

·         Experience of managing a full product cycle from product definition to design, implementation, testing, release, and sustaining

·         Strong technical background in any 3 of the following areas

 
Software architecture
Programming in C/C++/Java/C# in a multi-processor/multi-process environment
Embedded software development
Communication protocols such as h.323, SIP
Audio/video/image processing and/or audio video codecs
UI and user experience design
 

Windows Device Driver Development Engineer / Windows 驱动开发工程师

Content:

We are looking for windows driver developers to develop and maintain Polycom audio/video peripheral drivers for video conferencing product for Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7/Windows CE).

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

·         Design/Develop/Support proprietary audio/video captures drivers and other necessary software components for the high definition video conferencing device in the Windows environment.

·         Involve in all phases of development and support from requirement, design, coding, unit testing, benchmarking and support

·         Work closely with the ASIC/FPGA, Hardware, Firmware, Algorithm, and DVT teams on resolving issues during unit and integrated testing

·         Ensure that the drivers are Microsoft WHQL compliance.

·         Minimum BSEE/CS with 3 years of relevant development experience.

·         Good communication skills and good team player

·         Proficiency in written English

C# Software Developer / C# 软件开发工程师

3+ years experience in UI development in Microsoft .NET environment
