Ken Smith has announced the third beta release of FreeBSD 6.2: "BETA3 for the FreeBSD 6.2 release is now available on most of the FTP mirror sites. There have been a lot of fixes to many things since BETA2. The most important of the things that have been worked on is the driver for em(4). We are hoping people who had been reporting problems with em(4) can test what has been done. Both positive and negative feedback would be appreciated, if you had been experiencing problems that are now gone we would like to know. We are getting much closer to something that is release-able. Your help with the testing up to now has been appreciated, and continued testing would be appreciated even more." The release announcement.
