Apple time capsule
想买旧款Time Capsule, 但怕它接收wifi 范围和穿透力不够。面积约1000尺，两幅墙。请Ching 俾意见。

我都有2012 TC，呢只系dual channel 450M。我测过三十尺外，隔两幅墙+衣柜，连接2008 iMac(300M wifi) 得返130M @ 2.4GHz，Internet download 只有缚线的三分一。但无断线。
换了 AC Extreme, 同一情况 iMac 接收 270M @ 5GHz。上网实测快一倍！即是non-AC client 或旧机都可受惠。
To conclude : 有新买新。

Camp this page if you are not in hurry. Outdoor case is new, get TC this time, not AE.

Time Capsule 讯号真系比较弱, 我屋企都系千令呎 (二千呎以下), 只 TC 摆喺厅, 主人房 (隔一度墙 / 房门) 已经下降 30%, 入到去套厕 (再隔多一度门) 已经收唔到...
Workaround : 最终要买到一只 Airport Extreme bridge 咗佢嚟 extend 个 network...

新一定好过旧，新亦真系强左啲，但唔好期望太高。

G ethernet 快很多，但解决唔到食、睡、疴，或在阳台上网等情况。(甚至我个宾宾都要洗车时要戴 iPhone 听马尼拉电台)

- Time Capsule ac (max 1300M)
- Client MBA (max 867 M)
左方半间屋，接收是不错。
如果加多只 Extreme AC 放在中间(somewhere in the great room), 便更有效覆盖全屋。
